Mentor Coaching

Mentor Coaching

The International Coaching Federation (ICF) mentor coaching definition is: “coaching and feedback provided to coaches based on observations of their coaching sessions to increase capability in coaching in alignment with the ICF Core Competencies.”

Beginning in 2027, Mentor Coaching is part of the training curriculum, not a separate module. Within the Mentor Coaching sessions are feedback and formative evaluations, designed to build on and deepen learning and practice. There is no longer a final Performance Assessment, rather the four sessions provide the evidence of competence.

For those coaches who completed their 50 training hours prior to 2027, and have not yet done their Mentor Coaching, Loaves and Fishes continues to offer a stand alone Mentor Coaching process for certification and credential renewal.

We offer a separate spring and fall cohort for those who trained prior to 2027 and those seeking renewal of a certification.
