Mentor Coaching

Mentor Coaching and the Performance Assessment are Part Two of the complete sixty hours of Coach Training. Loaves and Fishes provides Certified Mentor Coaches who use the ACC and PCC markers to help coaches further develop their professional coaching skills.

Mentor Coaching happens through observed and recorded coaching sessions with clients. Participants receive individual feedback on their use of the core competencies of coaching as they are working toward the necessary 100 hours of client coaching required by the International Coach Federation or recertification.

The feedback is designed to increase the coach’s capability and effectiveness in coaching. It is during mentor coaching that many new coaches say they grow the most.

Six of the ten hours of mentor coaching are delivered in the context of a “learning cohort” of no more than ten participants. The remaining four hours are provided in one-on-one sessions with a mentor coach.

Mentor coaching takes place over a 3-month period of time with our trained Mentor Coaches and completes the sixty hours of training required for the Associate Credentialed Coach designation offered by the International Coaching Federation. Following the Mentor Coaching participants are prepared to take the Performance Assessment.

We offer a spring and fall cohort. Click the Contact button above for more information.

Our next Mentor Coaching Cohort in 2024 will be January 17, 24, and April 17 (2-4pm Eastern), with individual sessions in between.
