Coach Skill Training

Not interested in becoming a credentialed coach, but want to learn coaching skills?

We offer stand-alone workshops and training to provide skill learning for individuals or groups. These training sessions are co-designed by you and the Loaves and Fishes faculty. Examples of recent work include:

A three hour workshop for members of a committee who have been assigned to accompany congregations as they work on transforming their mission outreach. The content included listening skills, adapting a coaching mindset ( moving out of a consultative role), and focusing on outcomes.
A two day retreat with leaders of a judicatory who wanted to infuse their care for pastors with a coaching approach. Case studies of real situations helped frame the questions, and the practice was to learn a coaching stance in being with a pastor who was encountering resistance to change.
A lead pastor in a multi-staff church setting planned a staff retreat that included coaching skills for her staff to learn and practice.
